Ready, set, Kinder Prep!
Is your child 3, 4, or 5 years old, and getting ready for TK or kindergarten? Join us for language and math classes each week, offered in multiple week sessions, to strengthen your child’s skills and understanding. Building a solid foundation to support reading, writing, and number sense will enable them to enter school with confidence, knowledge, and approach to problem solving . Group lessons will follow the Montessori curriculum, but apply to any type of learning. Followed by games, activities, or a project to take home, children will reinforce new concepts through fun with friends!
Loving Language
Join us Tuesday afternoons for an hour of exploring all things reading and writing. The course will build from pre-reading activities and concepts, to sound and letter lessons, and pre-writing practice. Classes are led by a credentialed Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten Teacher, Laura Michels. Groups are kept small to ensure each child is grasping the concepts and applying their learning. Magical Math
Join us Thursday afternoons for an hour of investigating numbers, counting, and quantity. This course will begin with understanding one to one correspondence, then move to numerals and quantity. Classes are led by a credentialed Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten Teacher, Laura Michels. Groups are kept small to ensure each child is grasping the concepts and applying their learning. Things to know…
little house Ready, Set, Kinder Prep is designed for the 3, 4, and 5 year old.
Parents, guardians, grandparents, nannies, and loved adults are welcome to bring their child to class. The community welcomes all caregivers and embraces the bond between grown up and child.
1 adult per child is invited to stay during class due to capacity limitations. Adults attendance included in the class fee.
Each Ready, Set, Kinder Prep class is 60 minutes, allowing the child to attend a presentation, group activity, and exploration guided by the Montessori curriculum.
little house is a shoe free zone to keep the floor clean for our tiniest friends. Adults must wear socks and children are encouraged to have bare feet or wear socks with no-slip grip.
All parents/guardians must sign waiver upon booking a class for you and your child/ren. The waiver will pertain to all visits to little house.
little house is a limited cell phone zone. Please leave your device on silent, and use it sparingly for photos or videos of your child solely. This helps us keep a calm, focused space for the children to explore, and protects the privacy of other children in attendance.
little house Ready, Set, Kinder Prep class is not a drop off daycare or school. These classes are for child and adult to attend together.
